1. URBAN NEST Cancellation & Refund Policy

URBAN NEST believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

• Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

• URBAN NEST does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.

• In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 2 Days of receipt of the products. In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2 Days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

• In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them. In case of any Refunds approved by the URBAN NEST, it'll take 3-5 Days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on URBAN NEST platform.

Refunds are processed according to the specific circumstances of each booking and cancellation.

We strive to be fair to both PG owners and tenants while maintaining platform integrity.

3. Booking Cancellation by Tenants

Cancellations made more than 7 days before check-in: 100% refund of advance payment.

Cancellations made 3-7 days before check-in: 50% refund of advance payment.

Cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in: No refund available.

Security deposits are fully refundable subject to property condition assessment.

4. PG Owner Cancellations

If a PG owner cancels a confirmed booking, tenants are entitled to a full refund.

Additional compensation may be provided for last-minute cancellations causing inconvenience.

PG owners who frequently cancel bookings may face account restrictions.

Alternative accommodations will be suggested when possible.

5. Service Fee Refunds

Platform service fees are non-refundable except in cases of PG owner cancellations.

Payment processing fees may be deducted from refund amounts.

Service fees may be waived in cases of platform technical issues.

Promotional credits and discounts are non-transferable and non-refundable.

6. Property-Related Issues

Refunds may be provided if property conditions significantly differ from listing descriptions.

Health and safety issues reported within 24 hours of check-in may qualify for refunds.

Photographic evidence may be required to support refund claims.

Alternative accommodation assistance will be provided when possible.

7. Security Deposit Refunds

Security deposits are held in escrow and released after check-out inspection.

Deductions may be made for damages beyond normal wear and tear.

Detailed damage reports will be provided for any deductions made.

Disputes regarding security deposit deductions can be escalated to our resolution team.

8. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.

Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used.

Bank processing times may add additional 3-5 business days.

Users will receive email notifications regarding refund status updates.

9. Force Majeure Events

Natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events may qualify for full refunds.

Travel advisories and lockdown situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Documentation may be required to support force majeure claims.

Special refund policies may be implemented during emergency situations.

10. Dispute Resolution

Refund disputes will be reviewed by our customer support team within 48 hours.

Additional documentation may be requested during the review process.

Mediation services are available for complex disputes between parties.

Final decisions on refund disputes rest with URBAN NEST management.

11. Partial Stays and Early Departures

Early departures due to personal reasons do not qualify for prorated refunds.

Medical emergencies with proper documentation may be considered for partial refunds.

Remaining rent for the booking period is generally non-refundable.

Each case will be evaluated based on individual circumstances.

12. Refund Exceptions

Bookings made through third-party platforms may be subject to different refund policies.

Corporate bookings may have customized refund terms as per agreements.

Long-term stay agreements (>30 days) may have specific refund clauses.

Special promotional bookings may have restricted refund eligibility.
